After a lot of prayers and a trip to Latin America this past October, we were guided to a beautiful 13-year-old girl in need of a family. There is an incredible story of how we found her but we are being asked to not share those details at the moment.
She is a sweet, healthy, happy young lady and we are all looking forward to her joining our family. Our adoption agency has been great to work with. Our home study is complete and we submitted our letter of intent to adopt to the government in her country.
We have a lot of our other paperwork done for our Dossier and so we are hoping it will move fast to bring her home. We are praying to have her home this Summer.
We are continuing to learn Spanish and have been doing some training on adopting an older child. We realize this is not going to be easy but we know that we are doing the right thing.
If you are feeling inspired to be a part of our adoption story in helping us bring our daughter home we would love for you to be a part of our story. International adoption is expensive, so anything would help.
